The Environmental Youth Forum (EYF) returns on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, offering a half-day of inspiring environmentally focused film programming and an active cinema room, free for students and educators. This event provides a space to explore environmental issues through film, engage with local organizations, and spark meaningful conversations about sustainability and climate action.
EYF utilizes film to foster awareness and activism around a range of environmental issues, with an emphasis on innovations, solutions, and youth engagement. EYF programs are FREE to all participating schools at the Smith Rafael Film Center
Program details will be announced in late March—check back for updates!
EVENTS WILL INCLUDE:
- Film screenings
- Live Q&A with members of the filmmaking teams
- Active Cinema Room featuring live exhibits and demonstrations by environmental organizations working on issues related to the film subjects
- Activism resources for students featuring ideas and opportunities for environmental advocacy and engagement
