CAFILM EDUCATION FILMMAKER SERIES
The California Film Institute (CAFILM)’s Education Department is thrilled to collaborate with our Bay Area film community to diversify exhibition opportunities. Through programs like Filmmakers Go to School, MVFF Education, and DocLands Education, we aim to connect local filmmakers with local students, fostering meaningful conversations about filmmaking and timely social issues while supporting educators’ curricula.
We are excited to announce that CAFILM Education is now accepting submissions for film screenings and showcases held in classrooms and at the Rafael Theater. This is an opportunity to highlight the exceptional talent of Bay Area filmmakers and engage in educational programming that makes a difference. All selected presentations will be compensated.

- Films or projects must have been completed within the last five years
